About

I earned my MFA in fiber and material studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2025. Currently, I am based in Madison, WI. My work explores trans embodiment, and the intersection of craft and medicine. I am interested in imagery which leads the viewer to the space between attraction and repulsion as a way of exploring and challenging the dichotomy of injury and healing. I use textile materials and practices, such as weaving and bobbin lace making, while working within the categories of sculpture and installation. The meaning of materials is essential to my works, which operate within the same language formed by associations with the materials used to create them.  I am always in conversation with the materials, at once injuring or harming them, and allowing their nature to shape the work.
